The global pandemic gave me a lot of time to re-visit this quest. It stalled out due to a combination of things: 1) A lack of disposable income to use fro re-purchasing records 2) Investigative dead ends — people who had sold the record to unknown others; buyers I’ve been unable to track down with my best Googling and 3) People who don’t want to sell those records back to me.

I’m not fully defeated — as I gather new sources of funding (selling other unwanted collectibles), I’ve prioritized certain records and concentrated my efforts on finding them in the wild — searching fan posts for images of autographed vinyl that I can photo match to the ones I sold. The thrill of the chase is still fun, and though I don’t have hope for getting all of the remaining 84 records I sold, I’m confident there will be more coming my way.
